How We Started
Express Family Care is an urgent care center that began in Rainbow City, Alabama that in 2012 as an answer to the changing healthcare needs of today’s patient. Illness usually does not strike at a convenient time for most people and because of demanding schedules and busy lifestyles, patients can have difficulty finding a physician. Unfortunately, due to the nationwide shortage of primary care physicians, many times it can be difficult to be seen on the day most convenient for the patient causing the patient to make an appointment for a later date forcing them to miss work or school. Our urgent care center looks to partner with the local physicians in our areas.
We now have multiple locations to best suit your needs. Additionally, we offer our urgent care services not only during normal business hours, but also in the evenings and on weekends. Patients may either walk in without an appointment or may make an appointment either by phone or online. We will care for patients in a professional, caring and timely manner. If you have a primary care physician, with your permission, we will gladly inform them of the outcome of your visit to ensure as much continuity of patient care as possible. If you are seen by our physicians and are found to have a condition which is not appropriate for our center, we will make arrangements for a higher level of care. If you do not have a primary physician, we will be honored to serve your medical needs in this capacity as well.
We value you as a person and we value your time. We will strive to provide you with the best medical care possible in a pleasant environment in the most time-efficient way possible. We attempt to have you back to your life in about an hour.
